Stuck in peak-hour freeway traffic on the wrong side of Australia listening to Triple J was about as close as I came to Byron Bay's Splendour in the Grass this year. However, I found my experience in JJJ's live stream and the numerous online sources snapping some seriously cool festival style. Last weekend's Splendour witnessed a lot of mixed eclectic flair, which isn't surprising considering the festival goers faced somewhat challenging weather conditions. But rain, hail and shine, they did indeed deliver on the fashion-front.
An assorted blend of leather and denim ran rampant on the grounds of Splendour in 2012, along with touches of military chic and grunge rock. Flower crowns, statement necklaces and gumboots in their multitudes also made a solid appearance.
